ShareWorld Learning Center is an enrichment center whose primary goal is to provide a friendly and efficient learning environment that guides students towards academic success.

We offer a broad range of classes for anything from SAT preparation to college counseling:

• Long and short term preparation courses for the SAT I, II and AP exams
• Assistance in raising GPA with instruction in a wide variety of academic subjects
• Semi-private and private instruction in a wide range of academic subjects
• College counseling
• Enrichment electives in a variety of subjects
• Enhancing academic competitiveness (college admissions)

ShareWorld Learning Center was founded in the summer of 1993 by four educators who envisioned increasing students' opportunity for academic and social development in an increasingly competitive environment. Through observing their own children, these educators saw the need for independent education built on a variety of intelligences to succeed in a complex, modern society. Therefore, ShareWorld was founded and named on the basis of three target objectives:

• Approach every individual and situation with an open mind
• Relate to peers in social and academic matters
• Treat the world with respect and share its resources

Our Goals

1. To cultivate the mind (IQ)
   We strive to improve our students' academic performance (as measured by GPA/SAT/AP scores) by enhancing their verbal skills (reading, writing, etc.) and comprehension of mathematics. Our instructors, who specialize in a variety of subjects, utilize both their extensive knowledge and experience in their respective fields toward presenting the material in a structured, effective manner in order to facilitate your student's understanding.
2. To encourage emotional development (EQ)
   The instructors and students at ShareWorld enjoy close relationships based upon the ShareWorld precepts of keeping and "Open Mind", maintaining friendships ("Give Love") and "sharing" the results of their efforts ("Share World") . By providing students with a tightly-knit community founded on learning and self-improvement, ShareWorld enables students to reap the benefits of Eastern values in the midst of Western society.
3. To inspire creativity (CQ)
   ShareWorld instructors take pride in employing progressive, original teaching methods and likewise encourage their students to express themselves creatively. We offer a vast spectrum of activities, crafts and oratory courses intended to help students develop leadership abilities, a more community-minded outlook and the confidence to confront their problems.
