Assessment and Placement
Upon enrollment at ShareWorld, ESL students will be given a diagnostic exam to assess their English speaking, reading, and writing ability. The test will include basic reading, writing, and listening comprehension. Results will be used to place ESL students into appropriate summer course levels.
Schedule
The summer ESL program runs Monday-Friday, 9:30-4:30. The program includes classes, lunch, playtime, and time to socialize with peers. The ShareWorld staff supervises students on all breaks and encourages them to engage in activities that help them practice English speaking skills. Students may also remain at ShareWorld after 4:30 for activities such as tennis and swimming, for an additional fee.

移民英文密集班; 美語環境 分Level I/II/III 初中高級; 小班教學; 週一至五全日或半日班.
6/21-8/20選週、選課; 新移民子女ELD英文精修課程保證升級; 另有TOFEL考試輔導
K-G11課前先修課後輔導，各科選課、才藝班、油畫、陶藝、圍棋、游泳、網球等.
Proposed ESL Field Trip Locations
- Library: Library card application, looking for specific articles or books, checking out books and returning/renewing them, library programs and schedules
- Children's Discovery Museum: Exploring exhibits, project names, etc.
- Movie Theater: Purchase tickets, drinks and snacks, theater etiquette and vocabulary
- Shopping Mall: Buy & return vocabulary, asking for fitting and price, getting a discount / bargain
- Bus/Train Station: Bus/Train Station: Acquire bus/train schedule by phone or mail, price and destination/departure location, connections and discount passes
- Post Office: Acquire different service and charges, shipping tracking, changing/
forward address, buying stamps and service
- Others: Supermarkets shopping, restaurants etc.
