ShareWorld Coupon Book About the SAT

The SAT Reasoning Test is a standard college admissions examination that measures skills in math, reading, and writing. Test takers answer questions in each section within a given time limit. The timed sections on the SAT totals 3 hours and 45 minutes collectively. SAT scores can be viewed online (three weeks after taking the SAT) or mailed in paper form (six weeks). Each topic section is graded on a 200 - 800 scale which determines the student's rank (in percentiles) nationwide.

The SAT Subject Tests (SAT IIs) are timed one-hour tests scored on a scale ranging from 200 - 800 points. SAT Subject tests include twenty subjects, including languages, sciences, higher mathematics, literature, and history. Most selective colleges require applicants to take and submit their scores on multiple subject tests. The required subject tests may vary from school to school. For example, engineering schools might require Physics or Chemistry and Math Level II. For more information and specific registration and test dates for the SAT, visit www.collegeboard.com.

ShareWorld SAT Classes

Many of our students come to ShareWorld to prepare for the SAT I. The SAT I is a college admissions examination required by the nation's top institutions of higher learning.

We offer two types of SAT classes: SAT Foundation classes and SAT Test Preparation.

Our SAT Foundation classes are offered year-round. These classes include such subjects as math concepts, reading/writing, problem solving and vocabulary enrichment. ShareWorld advises that students begin preparing early in order to strengthen their academic foundations, as doing so is crucial not only to guaranteeing success on the SAT exams, but future college courses as well.

The SAT Test Preparation classes teach students specialized skills directed toward performing well on the SAT tests and are designed to be a final preparation before taking the exam. The class is usually 10 weeks before a SAT test date. During these 10 weeks, students will be able to review materials, master them, and learn special test-taking skills unique to the SAT. A combination of this course with the SAT Foundation class generally results in a great deal of improvement in students' SAT scores and test-taking abilities in general.
